Salem Al-Angari - President 
With an extensive experience, spanning more than 24 years, in Information Technology, Salem spent the first 16 years of his career in the support of operating systems of various computing technologies. Working in Saudi Aramco over these years, he has witnessed the evolution of computing technology, from the Mainframe to Client Servers, and then to ERP Solutions using SAP. Salem has worked with SAP since 2001, responsible for the SAP BASIS Division for all SAP R3 in Saudi Aramco, during the initial SAP Go- Live phase. Since June 2002, he has been responsible for the SAP BW implementation for all business areas at Saudi Aramco, which is considered among the top 5 installations worldwide. Currently Salem is responsible for a number of IT projects to enhance and optimize the Supply Chain network, including advanced warehouse logistics and catalogue process reengineering.

Majed Al-Mutairi – Immediate Past President 
Majed Al-Mutairi spearheaded the establishment of the SAP Users Group in the region back in 1994, a time when there had only been 6 SAP accounts in the region. From the years 1997 to 2006, Majed carried numerous roles in the Saudi Aramco Computer Center. One of which included Project Management for one of the largest SAP rollouts in Saudi Aramco, in the Company’s industrial facilities. This project encompassed 7000 users and 42 Departments ( i.e. Gas Plants, Producing Facilities, Refineries, Communities, etc). Another role was to head the SAP Change Management program in the Company, which affected all of the 33000 SAP users company-wide. Other experiences include being an IT Department Manager and SAP Project Manger at SABIC, as well as the Computer Applications Division Head at SCECO, in Saudi Arabia.

William Khalil – SAP Liaison Director 
William is currently the Business Intelligence Unit Head under the Business Intelligence Division at Saudi Aramco. Specialized in the area of SAP Business Intelligence since 1997, he carries with him 23 years of experience in Information Technology, 12 of which are in SAP. His SAP experience started in 1997 with using the SAP BW, responsible for the integration between SAP BW and Basis, NetWeaver, Portals, and third party products. Also, holds expertise in management of BI Upgrades, Production Support, Governance, Quality Assurance, Performance and Tuning, Data Analysis and Decision Support. William is also an active member in users group such as America SAP User Group (ASUG) and SAP User Group Enterprise Network (SUGEN).

Saji P. Oommen – Sponsors Director 
Saji Oommen is General Manager (Group Information Technology ) at Al Batha Group in the UAE. He is a Post Graduate Engineer in Computer Science and has around 23 years experience in IT. He is involved with SAP solutions from 1998.

Esam Hadi – Events & Programs Director 
Esam is currently heading the Business Solutions Division at Aluminium Bahrain, as well as leading a team of SAP Business Consultants and Analysts in different SAP modules that provides business solutions and user support. Having more than 24 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, he has been actively involved in SAP solutions since 1998. Esam is also part of the Strategic Management team for IT development and implementations, and has led a lot of project including four successful upgrade projects from SAP R/3 3.0I to SAP ERP 6.

Sami Al-Shammari – Public Relations Director 
Having received his Bachelor in Computer Science in 1997, Sami has 10 years of experience in the IT industry. He has been the IT and Telecoms Manager in OryxGTL since 2007. Prior to that, he was Head of the Applications Support Section in the Information Systems Department in RasGas for seven and half years. Beside SAP team, also responsible for the Web Team which handled the automation of business processes projects that are functioning on web based applications, as well as the Telecommunications, Networks and Server Support Teams. For a year and half, he handled the Financial Application Department in Doha Securities Market.
